Each year, more than 1,200 highly qualified transfer students enroll at the University of Connecticut. Transferring from one college or university to another can be challenging. That’s why we work hard to make transferring to UConn as smooth a process as possible.

As a student thinking about or preparing to transfer to UConn, there are some things to consider. We would like to thank you for choosing UConn as your new home to learn, to grow, to thrive and most important become a part something greater.

Please note that the College of Engineering does not select the students who are offered undergraduate admission to the College of Engineering. These decisions are made by UConn’s Undergraduate Admissions department. Advising for transfer students will be conducted at new student orientation.
