About Us
The UConn College of Engineering Undergraduate Programs are home to 15 accredited majors and programs. We are nationally recognized and located in southern New England. UConn Engineering helps every student grow intellectually through 160+ accessible faculty, career development assistance, and a multitude of co-ops and internships opportunities. With 67% of our graduates staying in Connecticut and 78% staying in the Northeast, our students become contributing members of the state, national, and international communities. While studying, students take advantage of 25+ local and national clubs and societies, nine honor societies, and dozens of enriching clubs and extracurriculars that round out their undergraduate educations.

Experiential Education
The Office of Experiential Education aims to integrate classroom knowledge with real-world applications through experiential education, service-learning initiatives, and on and off-campus involvement opportunities. By fostering engagement we aim to empower students to innovate, lead, and excel in their chosen fields.

Senior Design Demonstration

The Senior Design Demonstration Program is a two-semester capstone course where faculty and industry engineers mentor students as they work to solve real-world engineering problems for industry sponsors. Students learn about the principles of design, how ethics affect engineering decisions, and how professionals communicate ideas. In addition, they acquire valuable teamwork and professional skills while interacting with industry professionals and other mentors.
